Find the remainder when p (x) =x3 - 3x2 +4x +32 is divided by x+2

GIVEN ,
P ( x ) = x^3 - 3x^2 + 4x + 32 -----eq.(1)

let g ( x ) = x + 2 = 0

x = - 2
now put value of "x" in equation (1), we get

P ( -2 ) = (-2)^3 - 3(-2)^2 + 4(-2) + 32

P ( - 2 ) = - 8 - 12 - 8 + 32

= - 28+ 32 = 4

hence remainder = 4
