find the remainder when
x {3} + 3x {2} + 3x + 1
is divided by
5 + 2x
( it is x cube + 3x square+ 3x+1)

dear user

Apply remainder theorem 

=>5+2x =0 

=> x = - 5/2 

Replace x by – 5/2 we get 

=>x³+3x² + 3x + 1

=>(-5/2)³ + 3(-5/2)² + 3(-5/2) + 1

=> -125/8  + 75/4 – 15/2 + 1

Add fraction taking LCM of denominator 

=>(-125 + 150  - 60 + 8 )/125

=> -27/8
