2x - 1 = 0 \\ x =  \frac{1}{2}  \\ 4 {x}^{3}  - 12 {x}^{2}  + 14x - 3 \\ 4( { \frac{1}{2}) }^{3}  - 12 {( \frac{1}{2} )}^{2}  + 14  (\frac{1}{2} ) - 3 \\ 4( \frac{1}{8} ) - 12( \frac{1}{4} ) + 14( \frac{1}{2} )  - 3 \\  \frac{1}{2 }  - 3 + 7 - 3 \\ =   \frac{1 }{2}  + 1  =  \frac{1 + 2}{2}  =  \frac{3}{2}
