Given :-

4x³ - 12x² + 14x - 3

To Find :-

Remainder when divided by 2x - 1

Solution :-

2x - 1 = 0

2x = 1

x = 1/2

Putting x = 1/2

4(1/2)³ - 12(1/2)² + 14(1/2) - 3

4(1/8) - 12(1/4) + 7 - 3

1/2 - 3 + 7 - 3

1/2 - 6 + 7

1 - 12 + 14/2

15 - 12/2
