P(1/2)=2×[1/2]cube +3×[1/2]square -5×1/2 +7

P(1/2)=2/8 +3/4 -5/2 +7

=1/4 +3/4 -5/2+7

=4/4 -5/2+7

=-5/2+7

=-5+14/2
