find the remainder when the polynomial p(x) = 4x3 - 3x2 + 2x -4 is divided by (x-1)​

Answer:

Let x-1= 0

then x= 1

now putting value of x in equation

4X3-3X2+2(1)-4

12 - 6+ 2 -4

14 -6-4

8 - 4

4

So by factor theorem 4 is remainder
