Method 1 :
                     x² - 2 x + 1
                      _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
         x - 1     I  x³ - 3 x² + 3 x - 1
                     I  x³ -    x²
                     I (-)    (+)
                     I ----------------------
                     I         - 2 x² + 3 x
                     I         - 2 x² + 2 x
                     I         (+)      (-)
                     I      ----------------------
                     I                      x - 1
                     I                      x - 1
                     I                     (-)   (+)
                     I                 -------------
                                            0

Hence Remainder is zero.

Method 2 :

x - 1 = 0 ⇒ x = 1

p(x) = x³ - 3 x² + 3 x - 1

p(1) = (1)³ - 3(1)²+ 3(1) - 1

        = 1 - 3 + 3 - 1

        = 0

Hence remainder is zero.
