Step-by-step explanation:

Let f(x)=  x³-5x²+20x -4

By remainder theorem,

If we put zero of (x+1), i.e. - 1 as f(-1) we would obtain the remainder.

Put f(-1)=0

= (-1)³-5(-1)²+20(-1) -4

=-1-5-20-4

= - 30

Hence, the remainder is -30
