- 5x²+ 4x - 3 is divided by

 {x}^{3}  - 5 {x}^{2}  + 4x - 3

The above given polynomial is divided by (x-2)

let \: f(x) =  {x}^{3}  - 5 {x}^{2}  + 4x - 3

Substituting the value of x=2 in the above polynomial,

 =  {2}^{3}  - 5( {2})^{2} + 4(2) - 3 \\ 8 - 5(4) + 8 - 3 \\  = 8 - 20 + 8 - 3 \\ 16 - 23 \\  =  - 7

Hence, remainder is -7
