Since according to remainder theorem if p(x) divided by x-a then remainder is equal to p(a).

Put value of x is equal to a.

So remainder is equal to:

p(a) = a^3 - a*a^2 + 6 - a

p(a) = a^3 - a^3 + 6 - a

p(a) = 6 - a.

hope this is helpful
