x - 1 = 0

x = 0 + 1

x = 1

P(x) = x⁴ + - 2x² + 2x +1

p(1) = (1) + (1)³ - 2(1)² + 2(1) + 1

p(1) = 1 + 1 - 2 + 2 + 1

p(1) = 3 ans

Procedure :-

\implies First we can see that the x - 1 is given so we will first find the zero of x-1 that will be 1 we will put + sign because -1 is transposed.

\implies Then we will place 1 in place of x and then we will equate the whole expression. And -2 and +2 will get cancelled and then we will add the remaining 1 and hence, the answer is 3.
