By remainder method
p(x) = x^4 - x ^3 - 2x^2 + x + 1
g(x) = x - 1 = 0
x = 0 + 1
x = 1
p(1) = 1^4 - 1^3 - 2×1^2 + 1 + 1
= 1 - 1 - 2 + 1 + 1
= 0
p(x) = x^4 - x ^3 - 2x^2 + x + 1
g(x) = x - 1 = 0
x = 0 + 1
x = 1
p(1) = 1^4 - 1^3 - 2×1^2 + 1 + 1
= 1 - 1 - 2 + 1 + 1
= 0
