Hii There!!!

By using Remainder theorem ;

Let g( x ) = x - 3 = 0

=> x = 3

Now, substitute x = 3 in p (x) we get ;

p ( 3 ) = 3^2 - 4 × 3

p ( 3 ) = 9 - 12

=> -3

Hence, when p ( x ) is divided by g ( x ) remainder comes out to be -3.

Hope it helps
