F= Kqq/r2 is the repulsive force

Dashiell: Pls explain it
kushalankur09p5h135: when two charges are close to each other they apply a force on each other called columbic force which is directly proportional to the charge of the particle and inversly proportional to the square of the distance.

According to formula force is inversely proportional to square of distance and dielectric constant says,'K'.
which implies:-
F1/F2=(r2^2)*k2/(r1^2)*k1
1=(r2^2)* 4( k2=4*k1)
Dielectric is 4 watt to air vaccum)
1(1)*1
(r2^2)=1/4
r2=1/2

hope this helps you
