2 ohm

Two resistors are connected in series so

3 ohm + 3 ohm = 6 ohm

Now this 6 ohm resistor and 3 ohm resistor are in parallel

So 1\resistance of ab = 1\6 + 1\3

=2ohm

Answer:

2ohm

Explanation:

since the resistors on arms ac and bc are connected in series,Rs = 3ohm + 3ohm = 6ohm . And this effective resistor is connected in parallel with the resistor of arm ab

therefore 1/Rp = 1/3 + 1/6

= 3/6

= 1/2

Rp = 2ohm
