resistance = (1st digit ×10+2nddigit)
×multiplier(+ -)tolerance
green= 5, yellow=4
multiplier of black=1
tolerance of golden =(+ -)5%
then
resistance = (5×10+4)×1(+ -)5%
= (50+4)(+ -)5%
= 54 (+ -)5% ohm
