Find the resistance of eureka wire 1.1m long and 0.2mm in diameter. Resistivity of eureka=49x10^-8 OHM. What is the current flowing through the wire when a potential difference of 1V is applied across its ends?

length = 1.1m or 11/10m

area of crossection = 0.2mm = 1/500000msquare

resistivity= 49×10^-8ohm

therefore resistance = {(49×10^-8)×11/10}/1/500000

(49×10^-8×11)/10×5×10^5

(49×10^-8×11)/5×10^6

(539×10^-14)/5

=107.8×10^-14ohm
