Answer:

The Resistance of wire is 21561.305 ohm  .

Explanation:

Given as :

The length of wire = l = 207 mm

The resistivity of wire = \rho = 10030 ohm-mm

Let The resistance of wire = R ohm

The diameter of wire = d = 4 mm

So, The radius of wire = r = \dfrac{d}{2} = \dfrac{4}{2}

i.e r = 2 mm

Now, The Area of wire = A = π × radius²

i.e A = 3.14 × 2²

Or. A = 12.56 mm²

i.e Area = 12.56 mm²

Since Resistance of wire in terms of length and area is given as

Resistance = \dfrac{\rho \times length}{Area}

i.e R = \dfrac{\rho \times l}{A}

Or, R = \dfrac{10030 \times 207}{12.56}   \Omega

i.e R = \dfrac{270810}{12.56} ohm

Or, R = 21561.305  ohm

So, The Resistance of wire = R = 21561.305 ohm

Hence, The Resistance of wire is 21561.305 ohm  . Answer
