Answer:

In a Rhombus , diagonals perpendicularly bisect each other and form 4 right angled triangles ,

taking one among them ,

we see ,

(side)^2 = 6^2+ 8^2

(Side)^2= 36+64

(side)^2=100

side = (100)^(1/2) = 10 cm.

Therefore ,

Side of rhombus is 10 cm ,

Its area is = 0.5 x 2 x 6 x 2 x 8 = 96 cm^2

Perimeter is 4(Side)= 4(10)=40 cm .
