The root of this equation ; 4, -1

Proof ;

By trial and error method ;

p(4) = (4)^2 - 3(4) -4 p(-1) = (-1)^2 -3(-1) -4

p(4) = 16 - 12 - 4 p(-1) = 1 +3 -4

p(4) = 0 p(-1) = 0

So, Root = 4 So, Root = -1
