BY MIDDLE TERM SPLITTING,

3x²-5x+2

= 3x²-3x-2x+2

= 3x(x-1)-2(x-1)

= (x-1)(3x-2)

ROOTS: x-1 = 0

x = 1

3x-2 = 0

x = 2/3

x = 1 and 2/3

BY QUARTIC FORMULA,

-b+b²-4ac

= -(-5)+(-5)²-4(3)(2)

= 5+25-24

= 5+1

= 6/6

= 1

By putting 'minus' sign, we will get the second root as 2/3

ROOTS - x = 1 and 2/3.
