5x^2 -6x -2 =0
divide both sides by 5
=> x^2 -6x/5 -2/5 =0/5 =0
=> x^2 -6x/5 = 2/5
add (3/5)^2 both sides
=> x^2 -2.(3/5).x +(3/5)^2 =2/5 +(3/5)^2
=> {x - 3/5}^2 = (10+9)/25 =19/25
take square root both sides
=> (x -3/5) = +_√19/5
so,
x = 3/5 +_√19/5
=(3+_√19)/5
divide both sides by 5
=> x^2 -6x/5 -2/5 =0/5 =0
=> x^2 -6x/5 = 2/5
add (3/5)^2 both sides
=> x^2 -2.(3/5).x +(3/5)^2 =2/5 +(3/5)^2
=> {x - 3/5}^2 = (10+9)/25 =19/25
take square root both sides

so,
x = 3/5 +_√19/5
=(3+_√19)/5
