FIND THE ROOTS OF 3x2-6x+2=0

the answer is 1 and 2/3 but i need its steps

KAPILDARJI: 3x2−5x+2=0⇒3x2−3x−2x+2=0⇒3x(x−1)−2(x−1)=0⇒(3x−2)(x−1)=0

Thus
x - 1 = 0
=> x = 1

and 3x - 2 = 0
=> 3x = 2
=> x = 2/3

Here \: is \: the \: answer \: of \: your \: question

\boxed{Question} :- 3x² - 5x + 2 = 0

We have to find it's root.

{Seems like your question is wrong according to the answer you suggest}

\boxed{Solution} :-

3x² - 5x + 2 = 0

3x² - 3x - 2x + 2 = 0

\textbf{3x (x - 1) - 2 (x - 1) = 0}

\textbf{(3x - 2) (x - 1) = 0}

Now,

\textbf{3x - 2 = 0}

\textbf{3x = + 2}

\textbf{x = + 2/3}

Also,

\textbf{x - 1 = 0}

\textbf{x = + 1}

So, we get answer is;

\boxed{x = + 2/3, + 1}
