6 {x}^{2}  - \sqrt{2} x - 2 = 0 \\6 {x}^{2}  - 3 \sqrt{2}x + 2 \sqrt{2} x - 2 = 0  \\ 3x (2x  -  \sqrt{2}) +  \sqrt{2} (2x -  \sqrt{2}  ) = 0 \\ (3x +  \sqrt{2}) (2x -  \sqrt{2} ) = 0 \\ 3x +  \sqrt{2}  = 0 \\ 3x =  -  \sqrt{2}  \\ x =  \frac{ -  \sqrt{3} }{2}  \\ 2x -  \sqrt{2}  = 0 \\ 2x =  \sqrt{2}  \\ x =  \frac{ \sqrt{2} }{2}  =  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{2} }
