Let me help you for this question.....

The given equation is :  6x^{2} -\sqrt{2} x -10 = 0

=>  6x^{2} - 6\sqrt{2}x + 5\sqrt{2} x -10 = 0

=> 6x(x-\sqrt{2}) + 5\sqrt{2} (x-\sqrt{2})   = 0

=> (6x+5)(x-\sqrt{2}) = 0

=>  x = \frac{-5}{6}, \sqrt{2}
