6x^2 + x - 2 = 0

6x^2 + 4x - 3x - 2 = 0

2x ( 3x +2) - 1 ( 3x +2 ) = 0

( 3x +2 ) ( 2x - 1) = 0

( 3x + 2 ) = 0, ( 2x - 1) = 0

x = - 2 /3, 1 / 2

The roots are - 2/3 and 1 / 2.
