Answer:

p² + 9p + 20 = 0

=> p² + 4p + 5p + 20 = 0

=> p( p + 4) + 5( p + 4) = 0

=> ( p + 4)( p + 5) = 0

=> p + 4 = 0 , p+ 5 = 0.

=> p = -4 and , p = -5

so, the roots are -4 and -5

so the correct answer is option c.
