Equation :

• 2x² + x - 6

›› 2x² - 3x + 4x - 6

›› x(2x - 3) + 2(2x - 3)

›› (x + 2)(2x - 3)

x + 2 = 0

• x = -2

OR

2x - 3 = 0

2x = 3

• x = 3/2

Hence

• roots of given equation are - 2and 3/2
