2 {x}^{2}  - 5x + 3 = 0 \\ or \:  \: 2 {x}^{2}  - 2x - 3x + 3 = 0 \\ or \:  \: 2x(x - 1) - 3(x - 1) = 0 \\ or \:  \: (x - 1)(2x - 3) = 0
So,
x = 1 \:  \: or \:  \: x =  \frac{3}{2}
which is the required solution.
