By splitting the middle term

Product= -12 Sum= 1

so the factor becomes

-3 × 4 = -12

so, 2x^2 - 3x + 4x -6

x( 2x- 3) + 2( 2x- 3)

therefore, x= -2, 2x= 3

x= 3/2

The roots of the equation are -2 and 3/2
