Answer:

We get 4 & 3 as middle terms such that the sum or the difference is equal to 1 and the product of the constant term and coefficient of x2is−12 . Thus, the roots of the equation2x2+x−6=0are32and−2.

2x²+x-6=0

2x²+4x-3x-6=0

2x(x+2)-3(x+2)=0

(2x-3)(x+2)=0

Either

2x-3=0

2x=0+3

2x=3

x=3/2

Or

x+2=0

x=0-2

x=-2
