x^2 - 3x - m(m+3) = 0

=> x^2 + mx - (m+3)x- m(m+3) = 0

=> x(x+m) - (m+3)(x+m) = 0

=> (x+m) (x-m-3) = 0

x = - m and m+3

Roots are - m and m+3

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Here according to the standard form of quadratic equation

A=1

B=-3

C=-m(m+3)

Then by using factorisation method,

=> x^2 +-(m+3)x-m(m+3)

=> x(x+m)-(m+3)(x+m)

=> {x-(m+3)} {x+m}

Therefore, the roots are (m+3) and -m
