taking lcm,
x(3+3x) = x(4+4x)
= x^2 + x = 0
so, it has two roots 0 & -1.
but since x is not equal to -1(given)
only one value 0 will satisfy the above condition.
Remember: always avoid cancelling x in rhs, lhs as by doing so there is a root loss- a value of x that was possible but got eliminated.
