=> ( x² - 3 )/x = 2


=> x² - 3 = 2x


=> x² - 2x - 3 = 0

=> x( x - 3 ) + 1( x - 3 ) = 0


=> ( x - 3 )( x + 1 ) = 0


Therefore ,


x - 3 = 0 or x + 1 = 0


x = 3 or x = -1
