Step-by-step explanation:

3 {x}^{2}  - 5x + 2 = 0 \\  =  > 3 {x}^{2} - 3x  - 2x + 2 = 0 \\  =  > 3x(x   -  1) - 2(x - 1) = 0 \\  =  > (x - 1)(3x - 2) = 0 \\

Either, or,

(x - 1)=0. (3x - 2) = 0

=> x = 1. => 3x =2

=> x = 2/3

Therefore, roots of the following quadratic equation is

x = 1. or 2/3

3 {x}^{2}  - 5x + 2 = 0 \\ 3 {x }^{2}  - 3x - 2x + 2 = 0 \\ 3x(x - 1) - 2(x - 1) = 0 \\ (3x - 2)(x - 1) = 0 \\  \\ either \\ (3x - 2) = 0 \\  \:  \:  \: x =  \frac{2}{3}  \\  \\  \\ or \\ (x - 1) = 0 \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: x = 1

Hence,the roots of the given quadratic equation are 2/3 and 1 .
