Explanation :-

Given :-

  • Quadratic equation : 4x² + 5x = 0

To Find :-

  • The roots of given quadratic equation.

Solution :-

Given that, 4x² + 5x = 0

↪x (4x + 5) = 0

↪x = 0 Or 4x + 5 = 0

↪x = (0 , -5/4)

Hence,

  • The roots of given quadratic equation are 0,-5/4.

Some algebraic identities :-

  • (a + b)² = a² + 2ab + b²

  • (a² - b²) = (a + b) (a - b)

  • (a + b)³ = a³ + 3a²b + 3ab² + b³

  • (a - b)³ = a³ - 3a²b + 3ab² - b³

  • (x + a) (x + b) = x² + (a + b)x + ab

Answer:

4x²+5x =0

x is common in this equation

x ( 4x+5) =0

when x divides with 0

then

4x+5 =0

4x=0. ,5=0( which is not possible)

x=0
