Hi ,


10x + 9 = 0 is a Linear equation


in one variable x .


So , it has only one root .


10x + 9 = 0


=> 10x = -9


=> x = -9/10


Therefore ,


Root of the given equation = -9/10


Verification :


Substitute x = -9/10 in given


equation ,


10( -9/10 ) + 9 = 0


=> -9 + 9 = 0


=> 0 = 0 ( True )
