hey dear
here is your answer

2x^2+7x-4 = 0
2x^2-x+8x-4
x(2x-1)+4(2x-1)
(x+4)(2x-1)
x = -4 & x = 1/2

hope it helps
have a good day ☺

2x^2 + 7x - 4
2x^2 + 7x - 4
2x^2 + 8x - x -4
2x(x+4) -1(x+4)
(x+4)(2x-1)

x+4=0
x=-4

2x-1=0
x=1/2
