a = 2

b = 3

c = - 7

As we know that ,

Discriminate = b² - 4 ac

Discriminate = 3² - 4 × 2 × ( - 7 )

=> 9 - 8 × ( -7 )

=> 9 + 56

=> 65

Here ,

D is greater than 0

Therefore , Roots are distinct .
