5x^2+13x+8
by factorisation method we get.
5x^2+(8+5)x+8
5x^2+8x+5x+8
x(5x+8)+1(5x+8)
(x+1)(5x+8)
hence roots are -1 and -8/5

Question :-

 \small \: \bf{ find \: the \: roots \: of \: the \: quadratic \: equation \:} \\  \small \:  \: 5 {x}^{2}   + 13x + 8 = 0 \:

Answer:-

  \small \: roots \: of \:  the \: given \: equation \: are \\  \:  - 1 \:  \: and \:  \frac{ - 8}{5}

Step - by - step explanation :-

According to the question,

 \implies \: 5 {x}^{2}  + 13x + 8

Solve this equation by factorisation method,

 \implies \: 5 {x}^{2}  + 13x + 8 = 0 \\  \\  \implies \: 5 {x}^{2}  + 5x + 8x + 8 = 0 \\  \\  \implies \: 5x( x + 1) + 8(x + 1) = 0 \\  \\  \implies \: (x + 1)(5x + 8) = 0 \\  \\ case \: (1) \: if \:  \\  \\  \implies \: x  + 1 = 0 \\  \\  \implies \:  \boxed{x =  - 1}

 case \: (2) \: if \:  \\  \\  \implies \: 5x + 8 = 0 \\  \\  \implies \: 5x =  - 8 \\  \\  \implies  \:  \boxed{x =  \frac{ - 8}{5} }

This is the required solution.
