given that ,

X square + 2 x minus 3 equal to zero

xsquare + 3 x -x - 3

x(x+3)-1(x+3)

(x+3)(x-1)=0

then,

x=-3 and x= 1

Hence -3 and 1 r the zeroes of the

quadratic equation
