x=\frac{-b+\sqrt{D} }{2a}

a=2 , b=-7, c=3

D= b^{2} -4ac\\D=(-7)^{2} -4(2)(3)\\D= 49-24\\D=25

x=\frac{-(-7)+\sqrt{25} }{2(2)} \\\\x=\frac{7+5}{4} \\\\x= \frac{7+5}{4} , \frac{7-5}{4} \\\\x=\frac{12}{4} , \frac{2}{4} \\\\x=3,\frac{1}{2}
