-5 and -5 are the roots of this quadratic equation

shirley7: solution
amit3294: this quadratic equation is square of x+5 and then out square of x+5 equal to zero ....x+5=0..then x=-5
shirley7: 5x2_9x _14=0
amit3294: factor of this equation are x+1 and 5x-14...then roots are -1 and 14/5

x = \frac{ - 10  +  \sqrt{100 - 100} }{2}  \\ x =  \frac{ - 10 }{2}  \\ x =  - 5 \\ here \: othere \: zero \: is \: also \:  - 5 \\

shirley7: yes
igaurav23: 5x^2 -14x+5x-14 =0
shirley7: solution
igaurav23: x(5x-14) +1(5x-14) =0
igaurav23: (x+1)(5x-14)=0
shirley7: thanks
igaurav23: x+1=0 and 5x-4 =0
igaurav23: 5x-14 =0
igaurav23: x=-1 and x=4/5
igaurav23: above solution by factorization... this was easiest way to solve
