Hi.

Here is your answer---

____________________

Given---

               x - 3/x = 2
               x² - 3 = 2x                 [Taking L.C.M.]

    Splitting the Middle Term,

             x² - 2x - 3 = 0
           x² - 3x + x - 3 = 0
           x(x - 3) + 1(x - 3) = 0
           (x + 1)(x - 3) = 0

     By Zero Product Rule,
          x + 1 = 0                            x - 3 = 0
           x = -1                                  x = 3.

Thus, the roots of the given Quadratic Equation are -1 and 3.
