find the roots x square-3x+2=0​

x^2 -3x+2

Step 1

compare with the standard form of quadratic equation .

ax^2 + bx+ c = 0

after comparing

a =1

b=-3

c=2

Step 2

we use the factorisation method.

x^2-3x+2 =0

x^2 -2x-1x+2=0

Taking common

x ( x - 2) -1( x- 2)=0

(x -2) ( x- 1)=0

x- 2=0. x -1=0

x=2 x=1

so there are two Roots of this equation (2,1)
