Let the selling price = s.p

s.p=c.p\frac{\left(100-l\right)}{100}

\implies s.p=12.50\times\frac{\left(100-\frac{40}{3}\right)}{100}

\implies s.p=12.50\times\frac{\left(300-40\right)}{3\times100}

\implies s.p = 12.50\times\frac{260}{300}

\implies s.p = \frac{3250}{300}

\implies s.p = Rs10.83

Therefore,

Selling price (s.p) = Rs10.83
