find the S10 for a GP whose fourth term is 24 and 9th term is 768.

Answer:

4th term = ar^3 eq.1

9th term = ar^8 eq. 2

dividing eq1 from eq 2

ar^8/ar^3 = 768/24

r^5 = 32

r =2

a×8=24

a=3

s10 = 3(2^10-1)/(2-1)

s10= 3069
