Find the second and term and nth term of an A.P Whose 6th term is 12 and 8th term is 22​

nth term of an AP whose 1st term is "a" and common difference is "d"

is an= a+(n-1)d

According to question 

6th term= 12  8th term=22

a+5d=12-----Equation 1

a+7d=22------Equation 2

Equation 2 - Equation 1

= 2d=10

 d=5

Substituting d=5 in equation 1

a+5*5=12

a= 12-25

a= -13

2nd term is 

a+(2-1)d

= a+d = -13+5 = -8

2nd term = -8

nth term

= a+(n-1)d

= -13+(n-1)5

= -13-5+5n

= -18+5n

nth term = -18+5n
