TO FIND :-

selling price (sp)

SOLUTION :-

we know the marked price = 12000 rs

now 5 % sell tax on 12000

$\implies \rm{100\% = 12000}$

$\implies \rm{1\% = \dfrac{12000}{100} }$

$\implies \rm{5\% = \dfrac{12000}{100} \times 5}$

$\implies \rm{5\% = 120 \times 5}$

$\implies \rm{5\% = 600}$

so total =

$\implies \rm{12000 + 600}$

$\implies \rm{ \bf \: 12600 \: rs}$

now we know formula for selling price

$\implies \boxed{ \rm{selling \: price\: = marked \: price - discount}}$

hence,
