Two successive discounts of 20% and 10% will be equal to a single discount of 28%
Now the selling price is equal to (72/100)×150==108

As the list price is 150 ruppees. There is 20% discount on it first . now selling price is 80% of list price = 0.8×150=120 ruppees. There is also a 10% discount on it. so selling price is 0.9×120 =108 ruppees .
